July 2020, Sumatera Utara exports increased by 9.81 percent

Abstract

The value of exports through loading ports in the North Sumatra region in July 2020 increased compared to June 2020, namely from US $ 652.02 million to US $ 715.98 million or an increase of 9.81 percent. When compared to July 2019, North Sumatra's exports increased by 1.22 percent

The category of goods that experienced the largest increase in North Sumatra's export value in July 2020 against June 2020 was the animal / vegetable fat and oil group of US $ 29.69 million (12.22%).

Exports to China in July 2020 were the largest at US $ 120.32 million, followed by the United States at US $ 82.69 million and India at US $ 77.18 million with the contribution of the three reaching 39.13 percent.

According to the main group of export destination countries in July 2020, exports to the Asian region (outside ASEAN) were the largest with a value of US $ 282.54 or 39.46 percent of North Sumatra's total exports.
